Home is closer than ever
For the first time in my life, I bought a one-way ticket. Now it’s time to buy the return one and go back home :)
Last one coming!
Roughly 2 months to go and we’re on our way to the last country of this crazy adventure. Feeling homesick already but I can’t believe we’re almost done, what a strange feeling :)
Having a break and enjoying
I needed a pause and that’s ok. Learning that moving away from the online world for a bit to focus on enjoying this trip of a lifetime was exactly what I needed and that is was perfectly fine. One of my proudest learnings 😉
On the way to Patagonia
Heading to Patagonia to scratch another place off of my bucket list (and a major one) because this trip is all about that: seeing the most that I can until I have to go back and find a real job 🙈
Peru 🇵🇪
Travel diaries: Peru through my eyes and what I felt as I was leaving. Wrote this while waiting for our bus to leave Cusco.
The 100!
Travel diaries: the feeling of being on this backpacking adventure and away from home for 100 days already.
Machu Picchu
Travel diaries: seeing my first wonder of the world and finally getting to see Machu Picchu, a sight I dreamed of since I was a teenager.
When the word “Saudade” got a new meaning
Travel diaries: after such a long time away from home for the first time, I really start to understand what it really means to miss the people in your life.
Colombia wrap-up
Travel diaries: 31 days in Colombia and these were my thoughts as we were leaving
The importance of the right hostel
Travel diaries: because sometimes the right place can make or brake a trip. Santa Marta has nothing very interesting to see or do in the city, but the right hostel made us enjoy our stay a lot.
Adventure diaries: 45 days into backpacking South America
Travel diaries: what it feels like to be 45 days into this adventure
Backpacking South America on a budget: why I’m doing it
Travel diaries: The reason why I decided to leave my job, even though I’ll be back at working, to pursue the dream of backpacking this beautiful piece of the earth 😉
